Biography

As a self-taught artist, Agathon animated his first surfaces under the double influence of Free Figuration and Street Art.

It was from these two attractions that the desire to color everything, in large format, was born, to color canvases, panels, walls, kakemonos, and also his large sculptures in composite materials.
It is this diversity of supports, including the walls, and its technique of the circles which made him choose the spray can as a brush.

From the multiplied exhibitions at gallery, the wall performances, but also the theater and cinema sets, and up to the cover of Amélie Nothomb’s “Journal d’Hirondelle”, conceived as a wall in her small pocket size.

Agathon is currently based at the Perahia gallery (Paris 6th).
