Lasco (lasco_69) is a French street artist based in Lyon specialized in prehistory and rock art.
Lasco, a blase at a glance to the most famous decorated cave in Périgord.
This street artist began to be interested in rcck art during his studies in science. What he felt during the visits to the decorated caves motivated him to make these ancestral drawings to the public, and to raise awareness of this prehistoric art. Therefore, he decided to use the old cracked walls of cities to question about origins of human beings. A shedding light on the paradox between a thousand-year-old art that is preciously preserved and graffiti now outlawed.
Lasco modernizes Przewalski horses, Namibian rock giraffes, Rouffignac mammoths by using various artistic techniques: spray paint, hands, stencil, acrylic markers.
