MONART SPONSORS ARTIST INSTALLATION AT MONTPELLIER CULTURAL AND CREATIVE CENTER

Inauguration of Two Augmented Reality Artworks

Today we inaugurated the exhibition of two large artworks (3,2m x 3,2m) by Fredéric Durieu & Nathalie Erin, both financed by Monart.

Those artworks are produced by artificial intelligence tools developed by the two artists, and then manually enhanced and produced by Monart. The artworks are temporarily placed against those walls  before their final and permanent destination on the ceiling of the entrance space at the Montpellier Cultural and Creative Industries (MICC).

Try the Augmented Reality (AR) application to discover additional content linked to these artworks.

Try it now, it’s easy to figure out!

Enjoy and observe these two AR artworks by pointing your smartphone at the art using the free ARTIVIVE app!

MICC: The Venue

The inauguration event took place in Montpellier at the Tropisme Hall – a village inhabited daily by nearly 200 entrepreneurs and creators. This is THE place in vogue of Montpellier and is being built with the support of the city hall. The Tropisme Hall is the new space to work and live differently in Montpellier. In its month of existence, it has welcomed 20,000 people curious to discover this new cultural venue open to all audiences and offering a mix of music and culinary experiments, contemporary art and clubbing, debates, and afterworks.
