Monart, a Responsible, Green Company.
We act in a way which minimizes damage to the environment. Global warming continues apace and becomes an increasingly prevalent topic among world governments. Therefore, we are doing our part to be environmentally more responsible or “green”.
For instance, Monart recycles paper, glass, plastic and uses electricity generated from renewable and sustainable production!
But very concerned about the environment and the future of our planet, Monart wanted to be even more involved. So consequently, we’ve also established a partnership with R20 and Green Cross to support the artists engaged in the environment and make projects together!
Our partnership with R20
“ R20 – Regions of Climate Action is a not-for-profit international organization founded in 2011 by the former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in cooperation with a number of leading Regions, the United Nations, Development Banks, Clean-Tech companies, Academia and a number of NGO’s, to support sub-national governments around the world to develop and finance green infrastructure projects.
With its partners and the support of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, R20 has created a unique value chain and financial ecosystem that facilitates the identification, structuring, development, and financing of sub-national green infrastructure projects. R20 essentially acts as a liaison manager between sub-national authorities, technology providers and public-private investors, harnessing the best expertise that is available the length of the project development value chain to deliver explicit results in line with the Paris Climate Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ”

Our partnership with Green Cross
Monart recently partnered with Green Cross to jointly define an artistic and green projects label!
Green Cross International is a global independent non-profit and non-governmental environmental organization working to address the inter-connected global challenges of security, poverty eradication and environmental degradation through a combination of advocacy and local projects.
It was founded by former Soviet Union President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mikhail Gorbachev in 1993, building upon the work started by the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Green Cross International has been an active player in the Rio+20 conferences.
The mission of the organization is “to explore our global ocean, inspiring and educating people throughout the world to act responsibly for its protection, documenting the critical connection between humanity and nature, and celebrating the ocean’s vital importance to the survival of all life on our planet.” Jean-Michel Cousteau, President of Green Cross France et Territoires.

Monart is glad to have established these two partnerships with Green Cross and R20. We’ll let you know about all our mutual projects and all the artists and people getting involved in them.
In other words, Monarts goals are not only based on a financial and business achievement. Our purpose is also the fulfillment of social and environmental goals. We aim to minimize any negative impact on society or the environment by making everyday actions to protect the environment. That’s why we’re supporting Green Cross and R20 projects.
